Frequently asked questions

What should I do before & after getting a piercing?

Before:
- Get a decent sleep the night before your session.
- Eat before coming to the studio.
- Don't drink alcohol or caffeine.

After:
- Our piercer will provide the aftercare instructions that you must follow.
- Leave the piercing on and follow the timeline on how long before you can replace the jewelry.

Where does it hurt the most?

Pain can vary from a person's pain tolerance. But this is what most of our clients say: Least painful - Earlobe / Most painful - Genital & Thick-cartilage Areas

Can I use my own Jewelry?

Yes, as long as your jewelry meets our standards for both design and material. We accept suitable jewelry made from surgical-grade stainless steel, titanium, or high-quality solid gold that is unplated and nickel-free, subject to our piercer’s assessment for proper size, shape, and placement.

We do not use jewelry made from unsuitable materials such as acrylic, silicone, sterling silver, or low-quality mixed metals for fresh piercings, as these may increase the risk of irritation or interfere with the healing process.

How long does it take to heal?

A piercing takes anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks for initial healing, but up to 3 to 6 months for complete internal maturation. It depends heavily on the placement of the piercing and the type of tissue involved. Our piercer will include this information after your piercing session.
